After graduating from CCNM in 2004, Naturopathic Doctor Erik Boudreau, ND spent seven years in private practice in downtown Toronto (for more information on naturopathic training, regulation and licensure, click here). Since that time, he has addressed a wide range of health concerns using treatments including:
- nutritional counselling
- botanical medicine
- TCM/acupuncture
- vitamin/mineral supplementation
- Reiki therapy
- homeopathy
- as a former Certified Personal Trainer, he also maintains a focus on fitness/exercise planning and lifestyle modification.
From 2011-2016, Erik and his wife Vanessa Lee, ND relocated to Illinois, where they both worked as Naturopathic Oncology Providers at Cancer Treatment Centers of America's Midwestern Regional Medical Center (MRMC). It was in this role that he worked alongside a Medical Oncologist, alleviating treatment-related side-effects and supporting immune function in patients undergoing cancer treatment. He found this experience both incredibly challenging and rewarding. He also feels that it a distinct privilege to help others through often the most difficult times of their lives.
Offering Comprehensive Naturopathic Support in the Tri-Cities Area
Dr. Boudreau is currently a member of the CAND, BCNA and OncANP, and is currently providing naturopathic services at Aster Wellness Centre in downtown Port Coquitlam. He strongly believes that no two patients are alike, and as such, that the most appropriate (and effective) treatments for one individual may be completely difference than those for someone else, even in those presenting with the same chief concern or diagnosis. As such, Dr. Boudreau is dedicated to offering patients a comprehensive variety of natural, evidence-based treatment options. He is certified in acupuncture, advanced injection therapies - part A (including prolotherapy), IV/intravenous therapy (not currently offered), and has pharmaceutical prescribing authority, as well as having certification as a Reiki - Level 2 practitioner.
